A case of murder by suicide has been recorded at the Central Police Station, Lwengo Vide SD Ref 02/26/07/2019 of Kisaka.
This after a man identified as Gonzaga Mulindwa, 25, poisoned himself with claims his lover identified as F. Nanyonjo dumped him for another man.
Sources say a bottle containing a content suspected to be poison was retrieved from the scene by Scene of Crime Officers.
Also retrieved is a suicide note addressed to Nanyonjo.
The incident happened last night at Kyalububu Village, Kingo Sub-count.
Regional Police spokesman, Paul Kangave confirmed the incident.
He said Mulindwa’s body is at Lwengo Health Center IV awaiting postmortem while the content is expected to be taken to government analytical laboratory to ascertain what exactly was contained in the bottle.
