Mbale City Industrial Division Assistant RCC Urges for Collaborative Support for NRM Government

Mbale City: Jimmy Nambiro, the newly transferred Assistant Resident City Commissioner of Mbale Industrial city division, has called on residents to embrace and support the National Resistance Movement (NRM) government programs in a bid to fight poverty.

NRM party led President Museveni, boasts of highlighting the significant infrastructure advancements achieved under his leadership.

This call was made during a ceremony where Nambiro  received instruments of authority from the office of the president.

The position had remained vacant when Henery Manana, was transferred to Mbale district as the new Assistant Resident District Commissioner.

Nambiro expressed concern over the 45 percent voter support that President Museveni garnered in the last general elections from Mbale City, deeming this level of support unacceptable and urged residents not to continue the same in future elections. He cautioned that those unwilling to support President Museveni should reconsider their presence in Mbale City.

He stressed the importance of elections not only being free and fair but also genuinely reflective of the electorate’s will. Optimistic about continuing the commendable work of the NRM cadres,Jimmy pledged to address the political challenges facing Mbale city, especially given the division’s reputation as a recruitment ground for the opposition  amid ongoing political infighting.

With over 75 percent of city councillors and more than 90 percent of Members of Parliament affiliated with the NRM, Nambiro asserted that poor political performance will not be tolerated, particularly regarding support for President Museveni. He plans to engage with all political leaders and stakeholders to understand the reasons behind electoral outcomes and seek solutions to the political challenges facing the city.

The Mbale City NRM cadres encouraged the community to welcome and support Nambiro, emphasizing his commitment to teamwork and quality service delivery.

Jimmy Nambiro  a Cadre,  born-again Christian. Married with a happy family and a born of 40 years of age. Is a graduate teacher with a first-class degree in Mathematics and a masters degree of science in monitoring and evaluation! He draws his satisfaction when the common person gets services brought by the NRM government led by General Yoweri Museveni for example free Education in Primary and secondary schools, Social economic transformation, Security and Peace.

Nambiro has gone through several professional ladders as a classroom teacher, Senior Education Assistant, Principal and now Serving as an Assistant Resident City Commissioner-Mbale City.
