The LC 2 Vice Chairman in Bungokho sub county is on the run over defiling and impregnating a 13-year-old Minor
The suspect has been identified as Wilson Sikanga, the Vice chairman LC2 Lwambogo parish and a resident of Bumweru upper Village, Bungokho sub-county in Mbale district.
Mbale Police in Bungokho sub county says Sikanga reportedly dragged the victim whose names have been withheld to his house, closed the door and defiled her several times
Sources from the community say that the victim was being defiled by the same suspect since last year when is just 12 years old. The victim is currently 3 months pregnant.
The local authorities in Lwambogo parish, Bungokho sub county says that Sikanga warned the victim against divulging any information related to defilement.
According to police, the parents of the victim however reported the matter to Bungokho Police post which swung into action to arrest him but he narrowly escaped and took off.
