Mbarara vendor hangs to death a man he found eating his wife’s ‘locusts’

The police at Central Police Station, Mbarara is holding Hussein Sekai for hanging to death a man he accused of criminal trespass after he found him on his marital bed harvesting/spraying his wife’s locusts.

Hillary Atuhamye, 42, a matooke vendor at Koranorya was found hanging by a rope on Tuesday when his brother Leo Tumuhamye.

This, a day after Sekai had accused him a sexual relationship with his wife.

Atuhamye’s killers then hanged him by a rope to disguise that he committed suicide.  

Putting Sekai as first suspect in the murder, his house was searched and key evidence pointing to the murder was retrieved.

Investigators say blood stains were found in his house and on clothes.

It is then that he was arrested. He has confessed to killing Atuhamye with the help of other people still on the run.

The matter is being probed Vide CRB 225/2020/Murder of CPS, Mbarara.
