Minister Kasaija mourns his driver’s father

Finance Minister Matia Kasaija has mourned the death of his driver’s father.

Joseph Ntambi, the father of Charles Ssozi, an employee of Finance Ministry and Kasaija’s official driver died on Saturday.

“The death of an elder and parent is a very great loss to the family and nation at large. He will be greatly missed by family members, relatives and friends,” Kasaija wrote in a condolence message adding, “As a ministry, we join to pray and comfort the entire family at this trying moment.”

To Ssozi, Kasaija said: “We thank you for the role you have played as an exemplary public officer and son in the family. We know that you greatly supported and assisted your late father throughout his lifetime. Likewise, we thank the late for the support he rendered to you always as a father to ensure that you excel at your work. This is evidenced in the performance of your functions at the ministry.”

Finance ministry made a contribution of Shs 3 million towards burial arrangements.
