By Francis Otucu

Junior Water Minister, Ronald Kibuule has asked his voters of Mukono North Constituency for one more term in Parliament after expiry of current term.

Addressing mourners Wednesday, Kibuule said he had been consoled by colleagues who lost their dear ones under similar circumstances but asked his voters to vote him back to parliament as consolation.

He also noted that the President in a message to him asked him to be brave and know that death happens.

“Among the things the president told me when he called this morning, is that I should brave for death because this is just the beginning. He told me death happens, it has been there and it will be there even after these kids. I am ready to be strong,” Kibuule said as quoted by The Nile Post.

Earlier, Government Chief Whip, Ruth Nakabirwa had told Kibuule that she lost a son in a swimming pool yet he was perfect swimmer.

Jenipher Kacha Namuyangu, the State Minister for Local Government also said recounted to Kibuule a story of her 2-year-old child who drowned in a bucket halfway full.

To this, Kibuule said the scenarios had strengthened him, and given him the felling he is not alone.

Kibuule’s twins, Raymond and Rayden were laid to rest Wednesday in Mukono after drowning in a family swimming pool Monday.
