By Francis Otucu

Dr. Catherine Agaba,  a medical officer at International Hospital,  Kampala went missing on April 13,  2019.

Her boyfriend, an intern doctor at Nsambya Hospital identified as Muhammad Muhammad reported the matter to police on April 13, 2019.

The matter was recorded Vide CRB 447/2019.

This caused an arrest of Dr. Andrew Ntambi,  a Ugandan doctor based in the US.

He is currently detained at Kabalagala Police Division.

Dr. Agaba Dead?

Early on Sunday morning,  social media reports pointed to the death of Agaba.

The description was that the body was disturbing to look at.

A knowledgable police source however said he could neither confirm nor deny.

“On mere description by the area in which the body was found, family dismissed it, ” a source said.

The police have now invited the family to physically look at the body.

“But we have requested them to go and have a physical look at it. That is why we (police) dont want confirm or deny anything until they look at the body,” an irrefutable source said.

Dr. Agaba’s neighbors say she left her Muyenga apartment on April 13, 2019 while rolling three bags.

Police detectives who carried a search in her house say she carried portable household items.

She has never been seen  or heard from.

Her known mobile contacts remain switched off,  so is her whereabouts.

The police say investigation in to the matter is on.
