According to the EC presidential campaign program the CMP Lusaniya candidate Mubarack Munyagwa will campaign in Jinja city, the same place where president Yoweri Museveni will officiate at the older person’s international day celebrations.
The EC program indicates that president Museveni is to campaign in Amolatar and Dokolo districts respectively.

While other opposition presidential candidates Robert Kyagulanyi Sentamu (NUP) aka Bobi Wine will look for votes in Luuka and Kaliro districts, Nathan Nandala Mafabi (FDC) will be in Iganga and Bulira Frank of RPP will raid Bugiri district.
Political analysts who spoke to The Second Opinion attributed the camping of presidential candidates in Busoga region on the same day as a result of Kadaga’s effect because for the last couple of day her nemesis the speaker of parliament spent days in Busoga districts wooing reportedly splashing cash to her inlaws with attempts to convince them to support NRM.

Speaker Among was in Bugiri municipality, Bugiri rural, Iganga and Kaliro trying to ask Busoga to support the NRM party and vote president Yoweri Museveni in the 2026 general election.
