“While Uganda is working to restore 24% of its forest cover to pre-1990 levels, partnerships like the one with NBS TV are crucial to achieving these goals,” Dr. Owomugisha noted.

Under the ROOTs Campaign at the Ministry of Water and Environment, we’re receiving more partners whose efforts will help to restore Uganda’s Forestry Cover,” added Dr Jibril.

NBS TV’s Deputy Group CEO, Joe Kigozi, disclosed that the main goal of the 15 million Trees campaign: is to inform and transform society, and climate action is at the heart of this mission. Through partnerships with government bodies, NGOs, and the private sector, NBS TV is dedicated to a greener Uganda.”
