In order to give back to community members and also bring medical services closer to people, the National Medical Stores ( NMS) through its Rotary Club of Medical Stars held a mega medical camp in which it offered free medical services to people within Entebbe sub region. The mega medical camp was held on February 21, 2026, at National Medical Stores grounds in Kajjansi Town Council, Wakiso district.
During the mega medical camp locals were offered free medical services such as dental extraction and treatment, cancer screening, eye care services, and TB screening among others. This was the second edition of the medical camp organized by the Rotary Club of Medical Stars under the sponsorship of National Medical Stores among other sponsors.
Speaking to the media during the mega medical camp, Sheila Nduhukire, the spokesperson of National Medical Stores, said she was impressed with the turn up of locals adding that they had targeted around 2500 people but fortunately the turn up went beyond the targeted number and all were served.
Nduhukire added that she is delighted to host the Rotary International president whom she says felt the impact of the Rotary Club of Medical Stars – a corporate club established by National Medical Stores ( NMS).
NMS’ Sheila Nduhukire announced that next year’s medical camp will be held outside Entebbe but in any part of the country.
