The police at the Central Police Station, Mityana have started conducting an inquiry into circumstances under which youth associated with the ruling party, the National Resistance Movement (NRM) were Tuesday attacked by those identical to People Power Pressure Group.
The incident happened 12noon Tuesday when NRM Party youth who had convened in a small consultative meeting were attacked.
The meeting was being chaired by Ali Busulwa Nsimbwa, Councilor representing Ttamu Division when a rowdy team led by David Mugambwa, Gadaffi Kavuma and Hamuza Katerega stormed the meet before turning chairs into sticks.
The police say the trio has been arrested Vide CRB 482/2020, held and charges of Malicious Damage and Assault preferred against them.
