Secret Plot to ‘Kill’ Pr. Bujingo busted

House of Prayer Ministries senior pastor, Aloysious Bugingo has revealed the existence of a covert plot to crash him by ‘assassinating his character’.

Bugingo revealed the evil plan Tuesday during a press conference in which he clarified about claims that he has neglected his biological children.

The claims were made by his estranged wife Teddy Naluswa with whom the man of God is battling a grueling divorce process.

In a hearty appeal that was widely televised by local media, Teddy, while drenched in sea of tears, appealed to speaker of parliament Rebecca Kadaga and youth and children’s affairs minister Florence Nakiwala Kiyingi to come to her rescue and compel Bugingo to care for his children who have since dropped out of school. Teddy also claimed that Bugingo sent his bodyguards to beat up his children and drive them out of his office when they went to ask him for school fees. That the pastor referred toi the children as ghosts that had been sent by their bitter mother to spy on him.

IT’S CHARACTER ASSASSINATION

But while responding to the claims, Bugingo denied refusing to pay fees for his children. He noted that while he was not privileged enough to go smoothly through school as he would have wished, he vowed before god to help as many children as possible to realize the dream that he never achieved as a child.

“I have therefore educated very many children many of whom are not in any way related to me and they have finished school to become prominent doctors, lawyers, accountants and even journalists among others. Therefore, it is laughable for anyone to claim that I can ignore the education of my own children,” Bugingo said.

He also stressed that he has no ill-intentions towards his children and as such begged his wife to stop using them as her shield in their (couple’s) ongoing fight which he said will end soon unlike his paternity to his children that is eternal.

He however attributed the latest maneuvers by teddy to a deadly but secret plan to cause his downfall through character-assassination. The pastor believes that whoever is behind the stories is after his church and its related projects like salt media group which comprises salt TV and its sister radio stations across the country. In particular, Bugingo traced the newfound war against him to a new project in which he is blessing school children that are gearing to sit for their final examinations this third term.

This week I have held two services in which I prayed for 20,000 and later 10,000 students and their parents respectively that are preparing for their exams. The plotters now are after depicting me before these candidates as a person who is against education by refusing to educate my own children.

Bugingo also clarified that contrary to her claims, he spends shs800,000 on utilities for his family, which money is extended to his complaining wife through the house of prayer ministries church administrator. The administrator was appointed by court as the medium between the estranged couple and this followed teddy’s request that she didn’t want Bugingo to come into contact with her on grounds that he subjected her to domestic violence.

The pastor however said court found the claims baseless. Consequently, the couple was advised by the magistrate to keep their issues out of the media. However, Bugingo expressed shock that while Teddy is well aware of the order, she has gone ahead to sustain attacks on him through the same platform.
