SIRONKO: Nakiyi donates money towards purchase of Sub county land

Former Budadiri East Parliamentary Candidate, Julius Nakiyi, has fulfilled his pledge of donating 500,000 towards the purchase of land for Kikobero Sub county. 

Nakiyi handed over the cash to a delegation of elders and leaders during their visit to his hotel, Rosewood, in Mbale. 

The delegation, impressed by Nakiyi’s commitment, urged him to contest again in 2026 to fulfill the aspirations he had for the constituency. 

Local residents, Wehena Moses and Nafuna Tabitha, also expressed their support for Nakiyi and encouraged him to run in the upcoming elections. 

Nakiyi previously lost the NRM flag to Vincent Waboya and ran as an independent candidate in the general elections, ultimately losing to FDC’s Sasaga Isiah Wanzila.
