Uganda Gets Another COVID-19 Death, 31 New Cases

Uganda’s Ministry of Health has Friday afternoon confirmed the nation’s six COVID-19 death.

According to the ministry, the deceased is a 70 year old and resident of Nateete, Rubaga Division in Kampala.

He was July 24, 2020 admitted at Rubaga Hospital after he presented signs close to that of COVID-19. He was then admitted at the facility’s ICU. Samples taken revealed he was positive of the virus. Four days later, he was transferred to Mulago Hospital foe better management. Unfortunately, he passed on Thursday evening. This now brings the total number of COVID-19 death to six.

Meanwhile, the ministry has reported 31 new cases. This, out of results tested Thursday. Out of the 1, 254 tests, 31 turned out positive. This means that Uganda’s cumulative recoveries stand at 1,113
