The police in Rukungiri has in custody Christine Musimenta, 23, accused of poisoning her husband Jackson Mutareba, 52, to death at the weekend.
Well-placed sources say the incident happened at Garuka Village, Kikarara Parish, Bwambara sub-county in Rukungiri district on February 9, 2020.

Irrefutable sources have confided in this news site that the suspect has been dating another man named Ivan Arinaitwe behind her husband’s back.
Further sources say the deceased had confided in authorities that there were plans by his wife and ‘side dish’ to kill him so as to give the affair ‘green light’.
On top of revealing plans to kill him, he had finalized plans of returning his wife back to her parents.
However, before he could return her, he was poisoned, leading to his death on Sunday afternoon.
His body is at Rwakabengo health Centre 3 for postmortem while Musimenta is being held for murder Vide CRB 277/020/CPS, Rukugiri.
