Raymond Mujuni Quits NBS TV, considering PR stint

By Francis Otucu

Investigative journalist, Raymond Mujuni has officially left NBS TV, this news site has learnt.

A source at Next Media Services confirmed to this news site that Mujuni tabled his resignation letter days ago.

Desire Derekford Mugumisa, Next Media’s PR and Communications Officer has however described the reports as inaccurate and untrue.

“Untrue and inaccurate. I, will, however, give you a final comment a little later,” Mugumisa said.

In a telephone interview Wednesday evening, Mujuni said he is not aware of reports that he is quitting NBS TV.

“I don’t know the reports you are talking about. I haven’t seen them and I haven’t been part of it,” he said.

Sources however say he is thinking of going into Public Relations practice.

This rumor mill went rolling on Tuesday, following Mujuni’s tweet thus; “The anxiety before you take on a task you’ve envisioned for a long time.”

If he chooses to go into PR practice, he won’t be the first to quit NBS for the same.

Recently, political reporter Joseph Sabiiti left NBS before announcing he had joined Action Aid as Communications Officer.
