Death Toll in Collapsed Kansanga Building Rises to 10

Ten people have been confirmed dead following a building that collapsed early Sunday morning.

In the latest figure, three more people have been recovered from the rubble.

Of these, one was still alive. He was rushed to Mulago Hospital for treatment.

Two more bodies were retrieved in the process.

Their bodies have been taken to the city mortuary.   

Earlier, eyewitnesses said the construction workers had been staying at the doomed construction building in line with the Presidential guidelines to combat the spread of COVID-19.
