THE Central Police Station, Lugazi has in custody a 48-year-old man accused of insulting President Yoweri Museveni.
Irrefutable sources have told us that Hudd Ssekeba, a businesses man and former LC1 of Najja Village and resident of the same area, Najja sub county in Buikwe district abused Museveni on May 23, 2020 on his way back from Jinja.
“The President had gone to address officers at Kimaka in Jinja district and on his way back, he found a big gathering and his convoy slowed down as he waved to the people. In the process, he was insulted by Ssekeba and others,” a well-placed told this news site.
Against the above background, an army Major named Ochen who had jumped off and joined the crowd in protection of his boss arrested Ssekebe and took him to CPS, Lugazi.
What he told the President remains unknown.
The police say Ssekebe is being held Vide SD Ref 87/23/5/2020 for Insulting the person of the President.
