Missing Staff applied for annual leave – Employer

By Francis Otucu

Dr. Catherine Agaba quit her rented Muyenga apartment on April 13, 2019.

Her neighbors say she carried three bags with portable household items packed in the suitcases.

Soon her phones went off.

It is on April 16, 2019 when her boyfriend reported a matter of missing person to Kabalagala Police Division.

However, when a team of police detectives interviewed the neighbors, they said Agaba left on a Saturday morning of April 13, 2019 at will and in broad day light.

Her whereabouts and any information about her remain scantly.

In a statement last night, her employer, International Hospital Kampala said she applied for leave on April 9, 2019 and that that was the last time they heard from her.

“Our last contact with her was on Tuesday 9th April when she applied for annual leave,” part of the statement reads.

Information obtained by this news site shows that her Muyenga apartment was being rented for by her boyfriend (names withheld).

This has raised thoughts that maybe she disagreed with the ‘sponsor’ and decided to move out of the house.

It remains to be seen whether she will return to work after 21 days.
