Police Chief shoots dead 13-year-old after missing stray dog

The police are hunting down their one, Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP) Franco Obbu, the officer in charge Bukuya Police Station in Bukuya Town Council, Kassandha district.

This after he missed shooting a stray dog.

His bullet instead caught Patrick Maniriho, 13, a pupil at Mathias Bukuya Primary School.

He has reportedly gone into hiding. The police say they have recovered the killer gun.

By press time, the deceased body was at Kassandha Health Centre IV for postmortem.

The matter, according to police, is being probed Vide CRB 083/2020 of Kassandha.
