Stanbic Uganda Cup: Bright Stars, Kyetume storm semi-finals as Vipers visit Proline tomorrow

Bright Stars and Kyetume Football Clubs secured their first ever slots in the Stanbic Uganda Cup.
Top tier Bright Stars eliminated FUFA Big League outfit Nebbi Central 1-0 at the Luo play ground in West Nile on Saturday.
The second match played on Sunday at the Nakisunga Ssaza playground saw Kyetume eject fellow FUFA Big League side Wakiso Giants 4-1 in post-match penalties after 120 minutes of action.
Kyetume scored their kicks from the penalty mark through Denis Lubowa, M. Sande, Ibrahim Kazindula and Vincent Kayizzi.
Ivan Kiweewa was on the mark for Wakiso Giants as Clinton Kamugisha and James Kasibante missed their respective kicks.
The Stanbic Uganda Cup quarter final action continues on Monday, 11th March 2019 when Express hosts BUL at the Betway Mutesa II Stadium, Wankulukuku.
On Tuesday, last year’s losing finalists Vipers visit Proline at the Star Times Stadium, Lugogo.
