Opolot said they collaborate with Unleashed Potential in Motion and Relief aid foundation and African leadership university (ALU) that help struggling communities to have purposeful living.

“The initiative we are on aims at empowering potential entrepreneurs within the communities of pallisa by providing them with the resources, mentorship, and support needed to turn their innovative ideas into tangible and sustaining businesses. positive impact and drive economic growth within the community”Opolot said.

This is a unique opportunity that offers valuable skills, a network, with like-minded individuals, and contribute to the prosperity of communities in pallisa access to resources (seed funding), skills development, and accelerated growth (connect to partners) was facilitated by James Oluka of Action aid Uganda Kumi chapter.

Oluka said the most dangerous invisible enemy of prosperity is fixed mindset because it is a foundation majority of failures in life subscribe to.

” Business opportunity is everywhere, not only towns and people should not think of getting a lot of money to start up valuable enterprises . Most progressing individuals started with little capital. The knowledge we have shared here should be implemented’,Oluka said.

He said people should prioritize the education of their children using the little available resources that they locally add value to.

“A kilo of cassava is shs. 300  per kg which can mingle  cassava bread for six plates served to people buying roasted chicken in the evening which makes one earn shs. 3,000 ten times the ordinary market price for cassava. In Akisim trading center over 19 chickens are roasted but no cassava bread is mingled which is a business opportunity . Please take advantage of business chances and fill the gaps.”,Oluka said.

Moses Francis Opedes said  most people leave local investment because of mindset and prefer going to establish such opportunities elsewhere.

Sarah Amoding said she has been in the roadside mukene (silver fish) business but due to poor knowledge in record keeping she  kept on  making losses but with the acquired knowledge she was going to start an affordable enterprise within her means.
