Tycoon Patel Visits Kyabazinga At Budhumbula Royal Farm

Tycoon MaganBhai Patel of Nile Group of Companies and director of MMP Raja Foundation, on Saturday visited Isebantu Kyabazinga of Busoga, William Gabula Nadiope,IV at his Budhumbula Palace in Kamuli Municipality, Kamuli District.

Accompanied by his son Jay Patel and the second deputy Katukiro of ObwaKyabazinga Bwa Busoga (OBB) Owek. Osman Ahmed Noor, Patel had a private interaction with the Kyabazinga aimed at strengthening partnerships between MMP Raja Foundation and OBB to foster Busoga’s development.

The guests were later taken on a guided tour of the Kyabazinga’s vast land at the palace filled with different model enterprises. 

Different enterprises undertaken at the farm include Apple, Mango, Pineapple, Orange, Coffee and Banana growing, goat and cattle keeping among others.

Patel was thrilled by the various projects established by the Monarch at his Royal farm.

Patel vowed to encourage his respective audiences to embrace the same since Busoga land is good for agriculture.

Patel and his son later handed over gifts to the Kyabazinga and pledged support for more OBB development initiatives.  

Patel is one of the key Directors/promoters of this group of industries who has his big and diversified business setup in Uganda since 1996.

On behalf of the second deputy Katukiro of Busoga, Owek. Osman Ahmed Noor, the Kyabazinga Affairs Minister Owek. Yudaya Babirye assured Patel that the Kingdom is open and welcomes all progressive allies.

She thanked Owek. Osman for mobilizing investors through Busoga Royal Concepts (BRC), a company that was established by the Kyabazinga to partner with investors on behalf of OBB.  

She said Patel is a Board member of Busoga Royal concepts.

Owek. Babirye hailed MMP Raja Foundation for being major sponsors of OBB’s Masaza cup and for a safe water campaign project that has enabled sinking of a number of boreholes in Busoga.

Investments under Nile Group of Companies include Nile Agro Industries Ltd, GM Sugar Limited, Mayuge Sugar Industries Limited, Nile Water Industries Ltd and Nile Aluminum Industries Ltd among others.
